  • Beschrijving: Soon after his mother’s death, Thanassis, a student at the National Technical University (Polytechnic) of Athens, moves to the house of his forty-five-year-old brother Petros, who, in his mind, is still living in the ‘60s. A former student of the Polytechnic himself, he and his friends have created a rock group, which they try to keep alive in their free time. At the doorstep of the house Thanassis sees a woman who looks a lot like Eleni, his brother’s former girlfriend. He observes her closely and concludes that she is indeed Eleni. She has come back from abroad in order to attend a pre-established rendezvous of the former friends that no one, however, seems to recall anymore. Her awkward meeting with Petros and friends, as well a talk she has with Thanasis before she leaves again, make the latter realize that he must reconsider his longstanding beliefs about his older brother. Feeling as if his idols have been shattered, he moves in with his girlfriend Peggy. Somewhat later, Petros’ house is demolished to make way for another block of flats. An era ends, but what comes in its place?
